PROJECTS
Behind Blue Eyes Expeditions
Trips where children from rural villages document their lives with disposable film cameras. Caring people help make their dreams come true in return for their creative work.
The Blue Eyed Podcast
Conversations with children in frontline and de-occupied villages, recorded during expeditions to Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv. Kids share their stories, experiences, and dreams.
Nastia & MilkBar
Nastia dreamed of being a pastry chef. We invited her to Kyiv, where she made her first cake in a real production kitchen. The cake went on sale, we set up a kitchen in her village, and now we’re waiting for her to grow up and take on an internship at MilkBar.
Sasha & Module Exchange
At the “Blyshchyk” festival, Sasha discovered a passion for field recording. We provided him with a music kit, supported his online learning, and he later performed live in Kyiv.
Blyshchyk Festival
Creativity festivals for children in frontline villages, inspiring them with activities like architecture, upcycling, and filmmaking to modernize after-school programs.
Documentary: Blyshchyk: The South
A road movie about organizing children’s creativity festivals near the frontlines in Mykolaiv, highlighting challenges and triumphs.
Behind Blue Eyes Book
A collection of photos taken by children in frontline areas, created with Readellion Publishing and HavHav Bureau. The book features reflections on the project’s journey.
